Foodexpo dedicates an entire hall to sustainability

Nature's Pantry is the title of the sustainability universe that focuses on organic and plant-based food at Foodexpo. The Nordics' largest fair for the food industry, which takes place in MCH Messecenter Herning 17-19. March 2024, thus zooming in on green solutions more than ever.

Four activity areas in the Nature's Pantry Hall aim to make Foodexpo's many thousands of visitors more aware of sustainability in the food industry.

In Marken, visitors can explore raw materials and crops of the season, as well as delving into how best to cultivate the field with a focus on biodiversity and thus create a healthy ecosystem around our crops.

Among the hall's exhibitors you will find Copenhagen Foodpeople, who are behind the brands Il Fornaio and Jalm&B, and who work extensively with sustainability.

- We are the only Danish bread producer that is 100% organic, and we work intensively with upcycling, so we are very happy to be part of the Nature's Pantry hall, where we will stand with other innovative and forward-looking companies, states Nick Rasmussen, who is Business Unit Manager - Foodservice at Foodpeople, and talks about the company's relationship with Foodexpo:

- Foodexpo is a unique opportunity to meet a broad section of the Danish food scene, from customers and consumers to stakeholders, and we can always feel it in the sales when we have been there. So the fair is an active and important sales tool for us.
