About Foodexpo

Foodexpo is the largest food exhibition in the North, which takes place every other year at MCH Messecenter Herning. The exhibition has existed since 2004 and is organized in collaboration with 13 influential industry associations.

The professional meeting place of the food industry

Foodexpo is for anyone who is passionaded about or works with food, and who wants to stay ahead of the future. The exhibition provides a great opportunity to indulge the taste buds, satisfy the thirst for knowledge, and attend educational and inspirational events. When visiting Foodexpo, you will experience the latest news in food and equipment solutions for the food industry.

Foodexpo is known for it's many activities. In 2024; 21,553 visitors could explore no less than 10 halls jam-packed with news, from the 460 exhibitors. Additionally, the exhibition offered a full activity programme evolving around food.

On March 22-24, 2026, the doors will open for the 11th edition of Foodexpo. The entire food industry will be ready to inspire with the latest innovations in foodservice, retail, and equipment.

Get new culinary inspiration at Madværkstedet

In addition to Foodexpo, the team behind the exhibition also organizes the event-based food exhibition, Madværkstedet, which takes place every two years at Lokomotivværkstedet in Copenhagen. The next edition will be on 11-12 March 2025.

The exhibition Committee

Foodexpo is developed through close collaboration with an exhibition committee consisting of experienced individuals from various sectors of the food industry. The committee is carefully composed to represent both exhibitors and visitors, encompassing diverse target groups within the food industry. Its primary role is to ensure the exhibition maintains its relevance and upholds high professional standards for the benefit of exhibitors and visitors alike.
