HOUNÖ, a Danish-based company with a history dating back to 1977, has been at the forefront of combi oven development and production since its inception. Pioneering the production of combi ovens, HOUNÖ has been a reliable supplier of ovens to professional kitchens and bakeries worldwide. In 2007, HOUNÖ became a part of the Middleby Corporation.

In 2023, HOUNÖ introduced the Invoq series. As the foundation for this globally acclaimed product brand, HOUNÖ collaborated with five of the most dedicated and prestigious food service brands from around the world, forming the Innovation Circle to create the ultimate oven platform for combi and bake applications. Invoq has won the prominent Red Dot Best of the Best design award and IF award.

Sébastien came to HOUNÖ with a broad range of experiences, from fine dining to large company canteens as well as artisanal bakery and show cooking. He has worked in both Denmark and France, as sous chef and chef du cuisine, and is schooled in classic French cuisine. He excels within the fusion of the honest New Nordic and the extravagant French kitchen. Sébastien joined the Culinary Team at HOUNÖ in 2023.

Meet Rasmus Vingaard Larsen, President of HOUNÖ. A former chef turned industry leader, Rasmus uses his hands-on kitchen experience—from Michelin-star service to competition rigor—to guide HOUNÖ’s product innovation and operational culture. Since becoming President in May 2023, he’s brought a chef’s mindset to engineering, product design and leadership.
