Old road plates have already found their way into our collection. And since both we and our customers are pretty fond of the result, there’s really no reason to hit the brakes.
So once again, we’ve been busy giving old Indian road plates a new life. Originally used to create temporary roads, the plates have picked up plenty of wear, marks and patina along the way. Instead of ending up as scrap metal, they are cut up and transformed into new furniture and interior pieces.
At the fair, we’re introducing six new products to the collection: from a trolley, side table and small racks to nesting tables and bowls. Different functions, same raw material and same story.
The result is a collection full of character, where the traces of the material’s former life aren’t something we try to hide. Quite the opposite. That’s exactly what makes it interesting.
Upcycling? Yep.
New products made from old iron? Also yep.
Six new arrivals ready for the fair? Yep, yep and yep.
