How do you create a sense of community and togetherness among volunteers year after year, where familiar faces return and new ones join?

“We have many highly committed volunteers who show up year after year. They are very important to the festival, and they share a strong sense of community and togetherness,” says festival chairwoman Hanne Noermark.

One of the answers has proven to be a specially developed Haze Crew T-shirt. The T-shirt not only creates a shared identity that everyone can take pride in, but over the years it has also become a symbol of the close bonds and deeply rooted history. The music lineup printed on the back often sparks fun conversations and brings back good memories.

Hanne explains: “The T-shirt doesn’t just represent a single year of the music festival; it holds our entire history. When I see people wearing T-shirts from previous years, it makes me happy that they are still used after the festival, and that is exactly why quality is important to us.”

She adds with an example: “Most recently, I saw someone wearing a grey ID® Haze T-shirt from 2009 with, among others, Thomas Helmig printed on the back. It clearly shows that the T-shirt is worn many years later and that each T-shirt represents a specific Haze music festival, a particular year, and its memories.”
