Aarhus chai producer launches sparkling chai

The Aarhus-based chai producer Yolo Chai is now launching its newest product: Yolo Sparkling Chai – a sparkling, alcohol-free chai with a vinous and complex flavour profile.

The drink is developed as a natural extension of the company’s work with chai and spices and moves in the same gastronomic universe as sparkling tea. Warm spice notes meet freshness and fine bubbles in a beverage that works well as an aperitif, with food or in mocktails.

Yolo Sparkling Chai is brewed from the company’s own chai and carefully balanced so the depth of the spices meets light acidity and freshness. The result is an alcohol-free beverage with a more gastronomic expression than traditional soft drinks.

Behind Yolo Chai are Sidsel and Lasse Bech Kiilerich, who produce their chai in their own chai roastery in Aarhus, where the spices are roasted, brewed and bottled in small batches.

With Sparkling Chai, Yolo Chai expands from the café chai latte scene into a broader gastronomic universe, where alcohol-free alternatives to wine and cocktails are increasingly in demand.

Yolo Chai is a handcrafted, organic chai made from scratch using whole spices – never powders. We roast, brew and bottle everything ourselves in our chai roastery and brewery in Trøjborg, Aarhus.

Our main product is Yolo Chai Sticky Brew, a liquid chai made with seven high-quality spices, fresh ginger and cane sugar.
