Ofene Jackfruit supplies dehydrated young jackfruit from Uganda to professional kitchens in Denmark and the Nordics. Jackfruit is a neutral-tasting, fibre-rich fruit with a natural structure that adds bite and mouthfeel, making it easy to reduce meat in familiar dishes without changing menus, workflows, or budgets.
The dehydration makes the product shelf-stable, space-efficient, and easy to store and plan with in busy kitchens. When rehydrated and seasoned, Ofene Jackfruit can be used in both hybrid dishes—where part of the meat is replaced—and fully meat-free dishes, where it adds volume and texture.
The product works well in both hot and cold dishes, such as meatballs, lasagne, bolognese, stews, bowls, wraps, and salads, and can be adapted to different kitchen styles and flavour profiles.
