Komma Kaffe
Taking a break from the everyday, a pause, a comma from the hustle and bustle - a well-deserved indulgence 💛☕️
Welcome to our passionate coffee world, where we go above and beyond to deliver a unique experience to our customers. We're not just a coffee roastery; we are a young team of coffee enthusiasts with a combined experience of over 30 years in the coffee industry.
We craft the finest taste experiences at our organic-certified roastery in Søborg, where we daily roast beans from farms and cooperatives with whom we collaborate directly. This ensures continuity in our partnerships, transparency in the relationships with coffee farmers, and above all, quality.
We do everything in our power to be environmentally conscious. We roast using a machine that harnesses hot air from the roasting process, allowing us to use up to 70% less gas compared to conventional roasters. We recycle excess production materials, use CO2-neutral bags, implement a circular delivery system, and focus on reducing waste.
Our unique approach to specialty coffee, coupled with our commitment to sustainability and quality, makes us the perfect partner for any business.
Let's create a taste experience together that surpasses expectations!
Meet us
Omar Maagaard Hossain
CEO / Co-Founder
"I aspire to reach the point where coffee is recognized as an integral part of gastronomy, not merely an accompaniment but possessing just as much significance as wine." Omar Maagaard Hossain / CEO With over 18 years of experience in the world of coffee, Omar has dedicated the majority of his life to the "black gold." Now, as the CEO of his own company, he envisions bringing better coffee to the Danish audience. His dedication to the coffee world has been confirmed on multiple occasions, notably leading the production of coffee for Claus Meyer's ambitious project in New York, including the Michelin-starred restaurant "Agern." Under his leadership, Agern's coffee was highlighted as a culinary highlight by the respected food critic Pete Wells from The New York Times. "Mr. Maagaard's beans are brewed into Agern's espresso and pour-overs which made me think for the first time that the people who compare coffee to great wine are not completely barking mad." read the review.
