A/S Bryggeriet Vestfyen

A/S Bryggeriet Vestfyen was founded in 1885 in Assens by a group of 232 individuals, primarily from the local community, who wanted to establish a brewery capable of producing Bavarian-style beer. What began as a small local brewery on the outskirts of the town has since become part of the Finnish Olvi Group and has grown into Denmark’s fourth-largest brewery, as well as a central pillar of the Assens community.

Today, we are much more than Bavarian-style beer. We are a major producer of traditional beer, craft beer, soft drinks, and cider.

Yet we are still based where it all began – in Assens on the island of Funen.
