ROSE Chicken – Danish chicken with care since 1952

ROSE POULTRY A/S is Denmark’s oldest chicken producer. The company was founded by Marie Pedersen, also known as “Hønsemarie,” back in 1952. At that time, the company was called Vinderup Poultry Slaughterhouse.

In 1999, Vinderup Poultry Slaughterhouse merged with Skovsgaard Poultry Slaughterhouse, and in connection with the merger, the company name was changed to ROSE POULTRY.

Today, ROSE POULTRY is owned by Europe’s second-largest poultry group, the Dutch Plukon Food Group, but all production of ROSE chicken still takes place at our D
