This wine dates back to the Austro-Hungarian era, where it was cherished at the Habsburg court. Today, Bermet is an essential part of any wine list that honors the region’s heritage.
The wine is crafted according to a recipe preserved as a family treasure for over 200 years, and its aromatic character comes from a special maceration of spices and herbs. Bermet displays a ruby-red color and a rich bouquet of dried cherries, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, and dark chocolate.
On the palate, it is seductively sweet with a pleasant hint of bitterness, making it a perfect wine to enjoy on any occasion.
