Estate Kratošija 2022 is a characterful and elegant red wine from Imako Vino, crafted from the local Kratošija grape – a variety rooted in Balkan tradition, rich in personality and terroir. This vintage demonstrates how careful vineyard management and thoughtful winemaking come together to create depth and finesse.
In the glass, the wine appears deep ruby red with violet hues. The aroma offers a harmonious bouquet of 🍒 cherries and 🍓 ripe red berries, with undertones of plum and a delicate hint of dark berries. Notes of spice—perhaps a touch of black pepper or dark chocolate—add further complexity.
The palate is full-bodied and well-structured, with soft, ripe tannins. The fruit is pronounced, round, and juicy, while the acidity keeps the wine fresh and vibrant. The finish is long and elegant, with a beautifully balanced interplay of fruit, tannin, and any subtle oak influence, if used.
