What started at BRITA back in the 1980s with the return of used filters culminated in a professional recycling program in 1992. This made BRITA the first supplier in the industry to focus on environmental protection through recycling.
And thanks to our recycling program, we can return up to 85%* of our cartridge content back to the recycling cycle, breathing a lot of new life into our filters.
