VINIFICATION – MATURATION
Nico Lazaridi vinified, for the first time, a single-varietal Assyrtiko of limited
production in handmade Italian clay amphorae.
COLOR
Medium gold.
TASTING NOTES
A wine with a complex bouquet, marked by distinct earthy aromas
such as flint and pyrite, beautifully interwoven with jasminescented white floral notes and ripe stone fruit aromas. It features
medium (+) acidity and a full-bodied palate, thanks to its oily
texture. The flavors on the palate reflect the nose, leading to a
long, lingering finish. The result leaves us with a sense of
anticipation for its evolution and aging potential.
FOOD PAIRING
Excellent match for fresh vegetables, greasy fish and seafood with
acid sauces, mushrooms, white meat, hummus and sushi.
