On March 24, 2026, from 12:00–12:25, our CEO Randi Whalsten will take the stage at Foodexpo to talk about what drives us at MATR: fermentation, craft, ambitions, and the next generation of plant-based food.
If you’re curious about how fermentation can unlock deeper flavour and jucy bite, better nutrition, and new possibilities for plant-based cuisine then this talk is for you.
Randi will share the story behind MATR, the thinking behind our products, and our ambitions for the category, and how we are creating something truly different in the world of food.
At the same time, we’re celebrating a huge milestone.
Starting in week 12, you’ll be able to find MATR patties and minced in 53 Coop stores across Jutland, Funen, and Zealand. This is a big step forward, and for us.This means that more people can now include a delicious MATR dish in their weekly routine.
This is only the beginning. We’re starting with 53 stores, but our ambitions are big. Over the coming years we’ll continue expanding throughout Denmark, with even more growth planned toward the end of 2026 and into 2027.
