In East Funen's scenic landscape, Ørbæk Brewery, established in 1906 and acquired by Niels and Nicolai Rømer in the 1990s, is located among estates and castles. Starting in 1997, Niels and Nicolai produced the world's first organic soda, Naturfrisk, expanding their range to include organic juices, smoothies, soft drinks, and beers.
Naturfrisk and Ørbæk Bryggeri are part of the Naturfrisk Group, which also encompasses Nyborg Destilleri, where organic whisky, gin, liqueur, aquavit, and other spirits is produced.
