Our mission is simple and important: to reduce food waste and contribute to a better quality of life. Bananas are one of the world's most wasted foods. Already in the first link in the value chain with the farmers, up to 40% is discarded due to appearance alone. And in the supermarkets millions of bananas are thrown away every day because of appearance and ripeness. A stark contrast to what the world and consumers are calling for.

At Banana Cph, we rescue overripe bananas from a fate as waste and transform them into delicious plant-based products. Overripe bananas contain lots of flavor and sweetness. From sponge cake to creamy ice cream and delicate truffles, we utilize the full potential of bananas and create taste experiences that please both the palate and the conscience.

Our mission should be seen as a statement — about the importance of taking responsibility for our resources and understanding the value of each and every food item. Every day we prove, both to ourselves and to the world around us, that even a simple banana can play a valuable role.
