Welcome to Denmark’s Best Butcher Delicacies
At Foodexpo, we celebrate fine craftsmanship as we crown Denmark’s Best Butcher Delicacies on Sunday, in collaboration with the Danish Butchers Association.

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, Denmark’s best will be crowned in the following categories:
- 11:00–11:45: Denmark’s Best Grilled Sausage – Regular Frankfurter/Wiener
- 11:45–12:30: Denmark’s Best Dry-Cured Sausage in Artificial Casing
- 12:30–13:15: Denmark’s Best Liver Pâté
- 13:15–14:00: Denmark’s Best Pork Cracklings
- 14:00–14:45: Denmark’s Best Snack Sausage
- 14:45–15:30: Denmark’s Best Grilled Sausage – Various Flavor Combinations
- 15:30–16:15: Denmark’s Best Dry-Cured Sausage in Natural Casing
The competitions are divided into two rounds, with the first round held on October 5, 2025, where the five participants in each category for Foodexpo 2026 were selected.
The competition is organized by the Danish Butchers Association.
