More than 550 exhibitors gathered in 10 expo halls ensure three days packed with gastronomic news and experiences, The activity program is record-breaking with, among other things, 25c competitions for food professionals.

Four years have passed since the last edition of Foodexpo, the largest food fair in the Nordic region. But now, Foodexpo is finally back again, and the programme for the three expo days is record breakling with more than 100 activities. When MCH Messecenter Herning open the doors to the fair on 27.-29. March, it will consist of ten halls filled with news and products from the gastronomic world.
Foodexpo has experienced a great deal of goodwill and loyalty from everyone involved:

This testifies the very special dedication to the event - and the reason why we can offer a fair of this impressive size, states Carina Høgsted Kirkegaard, Project Manager at MCH Messecenter Herning.
Denmark's best Chef, Bartender and Pizza Baker - and truffle cake!
At this year's Foodexpo, where the activity program counts over 100 activities - form lectures, workshops and debates to professional competitions. This year, there are 25 different competitions at Foodexpo, including both Danish and World premieres, and at the fair, the best Chefs, Bartenders and Pizza Baker are announced. The best truffle cake is also be found, and here the visitorsa at the fair can taste and vote for their favorite - Nørre Aaby Bageri won the competition in 2018, which drew big headlines and has since served as a customer magnet for the bakery.
Furthermore, the ten halls are dedicated to different experience universes, which means that visitors to each hall step into a new experience. In each hall, tha visitors can learm more about everything from ecology, sustainability and climate to entrepreneurship, furniture and interiors aimed at hotels, restaurants and cafés.
Eco-banko and sustainable fashion show
A large number of new collaborations ensure a comprehensive range of news and initiatives at Foodexpo. The National Organic Association ("Økologisk Landsforening") is in charge of the area "Mødestedet" (The Meeting Place), where, among other things, the visitorsa can participate in eco-banko, and a sustainable fashion show with TV host Annette Heick as host. In Hall J3, Scan Office Daarbak transforms the entire Hall into a furniture and interior universe with only sustainable products.
In the workshop area Nørderiet, visitors can participate in workshops with experts such as chef and food writer Trine Hahnemann and cookbook author Ditte Ingemann, while the gastronomic entrepreneur Claus Meyer and two other prominent mentors in the FoodStartUp area cultivate the new food entrepreneurs who are on the rise.
On the Bar stage, the Danish Sommelier Association and the Danish Bartender Association conduct a number of exciting competitions and activities within wine tasting and the bartending profession, and among the many professional competitions, the new Pizza Champion Cup applies elsewhere.
