Food and furniture and interior designjoin forces, when MCH Messecenter Herning open its doors to Foodexpo, the Nordic region's largest food fair, 27-29. March 2022. Three halls with more than 540 exhibitors are dedicated to furniture and interiors for hotels, restaurants and cafes, and this is something that arouses enthusiasm among the exhibitors in the new area. Here you can, among many others, meet House of Sander, Design District, Thors Design, EGE Carpets and Lobo Contract - Trademark Living are also represented, and the company sees great prospects in the initiative:
- It is very uplifting that Foodexpo embraces furniture and interiors as well, because the food can not stand alone. The color of the wall, the quality of the plate, the comfort of the chair and the design of the table are all crucial to the great culinary experience. Therefore, it is a very meaningful development with this initiative, and we look forward to showing our things and get a new and larger contact surface, says Jan Thormann, owner and concept manager at Trademark Living.
He is complemented by Daniel Henriksen, sales and marketing director at Hübsch, who is also new to the fair:
- It is fantastic for us with the increased focus on the interaction between food and interior design, and we are very pleased that the interior design part will now become a natural, integrated part of Foodexpo. This is our first time at the fair, and we are very much looking forward to meeting new customers and exploring new markets.
Great support ensures an inspiring universe
At Foodexpo, you greatly appreciate the great support for the expanded universe, which with its wide range of exhibitors will sizzle and bubble with the latest furniture and interior trends for hotels, restaurants and cafes.
- It is fantastic that the support has been so great and that the furniture and interior now fill three halls. It testifies that the industry really wants it and that there is a need for an initiative like this. There will be plenty of opportunities to be inspired, and we look forward to showing visitors all the new trends and tendencies, states Carina Høgsted Kirkegaard, project manager at MCH Messecenter Herning.
New hotel trends, flowers and sustainability
In addition to the many exhibitors, the furniture and interior universe becomes a true cornucopia of activities and experiences. Lifestyle expert Mads Arlien-Søborg, for example, gives his take on the latest hotel trends in the exhibition Future Hotel Concepts, which illustrates eight cases and deals with the main themes design and interior, sustainability and environment, health and wellness as well as responsibility and the local environment.
And Scan Office Daarbak facilitates one of the halls, which will be a sustainable area, where leading exhibitors will be present, and where two bids will be arranged for the hotel room of the future. In addition, daily talks and posts can be experienced from their stage.
The botanical workshop bloom k is also on the spot with creative, inventive bouquets, and then there is not least the opportunity to rest your legs and get some good food and drink - the area also treats with a pop-up restaurant decorated by the design brand HAY.
Foodexpo 2022 takes place 27.-29. March 2022 in MCH Messecenter Herning.
