But first and foremost an old tradition of excellent craftmanship. Hancock is a Danish family-owned brewery, dating back to 1876, in Skive by Limfjorden in Denmark. Our market expands and develops organically and our primary customers are those who want to enjoy a beer that is just a slightly better than the rest.

That is the philosophy behind our products, which is why we still brew according to our old methods.

Traditional craftmanship takes time
Our products are all brewed with the deepest respect for the natural processes that occurs during the brewing process. The beer is cold fermented, and matured at 0 degrees Celsius from 7 weeks and up to 2 years. This is old traditional craftmanship without industrial processes and without addition of water by bottling.

Generous amounts of raw materials
We only use high quality malt for our beers, as well as the world’s finest and most expensive hops, the Czech Saaz. As a matter of fact, Saaz is a clear sign of quality beer, according to beer enthusiasts around the world.
