The Ankorstore platform connects Danish resellers with 15,000 unique European brands, of which more than 4,300 are in the food category. It has never been easier to source new products for your business and to find new suppliers - and to the best conditions too. For the B2B marketplace, Ankorstore, sees it as its mission to create equal opportunities for independent businesses across Europe.
Stockholm, 2022 - Covid has for a long time placed a limit on the opportunities to go out and seek new inspiration. It has gotten much better, but it can also get easier. This is the case with Ankorstore's entry into the Nordic market.
Now it’s possible to find exciting new suppliers, directly on the Ankorstore platform. In the Grocery category alone, there are more than 4,300 brands to choose from. And when buying via the platform the stores even avoid shipping costs already with orders of approx. 300 Euro. In addition to this, Ankorstore's digital platform facilitates all administration for both sellers and buyers.
“Dealers should be able to make money on small volumes from brands that aren’t avialable everywhere. It is the opposite of what retail has long done, and our results suggest it works. What we want is to strengthen and develop the independent brands and the physical, local retail, ”says Ankorstore co-founder Pierre-Louis Lacoste.
The philosophy behind Ankorstore is that independent brands and the small, local stores and businesses should not get caught up in negotiations about requirements for order sizes and prices. In addition to connecting buyers and sellers, Ankorstore removes these financial barriers.
The Ankorstore platform offers a number of opportunities to provide better conditions in relation to logistics and delivery, sales and campaigns - and also in relation to how much the individual retailers need to buy for. They can buy smaller quantities to test the demand and the payment terms are up to 60 days. The minimum order are as low as 100 Euro.
Ankorstore has thundered forward and in just two years has achieved unicorn status. They currently have offices in Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Stockholm and see the Nordic region as a key market.
"The fact that Ankorstore has become a Unicorn is fantastic to achieve within two years, and now we want to use this position to strengthen our position in the Nordic region. The Nordic region is one of our 5 key markets and has so much to offer in terms of exciting new brands and we want to help these brands expand into Europe - and at the same time strengthen the independent stores in the region by being able to offer unique products to the discerning Nordic customers, "concludes Nicolas D'Audiffret, co-Founder and co-CEO.
