ThermIT, which for many years has produced and supplied digital temperature monitoring to many countries, now also offers a totally integrated self-monitoring program called ThermIT E-control.

- We now have the great pleasure of being able to offer electronic self-monitoring together with ThermIT's digital temperature monitoring. With ThermIT E-control, all relevant data and documents are collected.

- You can work locally on the web, and larger organizations can work centrally with all departments. Users get rid of manual routines in a very sustainable way, as you save resources, and the use of paper is also over, says Ivan Lindgren Hansen from ThermIT.

The self-monitoring program ThermIT E-control is fully integrated into the temperature monitoring, and temperatures are automatically transferred to the program. Users thus have a total overview and control of the important self-control. The system stores all data digitally for five years and can also be used in connection with control visits by the Danish Food and Drug Administration.

A self-control program helps to keep track of the many processes that have a direct and decisive impact on food safety in a company such as a restaurant, commercial kitchens, food manufacturers, the fishing industry and retail stores with food.

- We have a close collaboration with a number of skilled food consultants who are ready with good advice and professional guidance, says Ivan Lindgren Hansen.

The ThermIT E-control program contains all the necessary features to handle, among other things:
Flow chart and company profile.
Procedure descriptions and HACCP-based risk assessments.
Setting up control parameters in connection with documentation of CCPére (for example goods receipt, heat treatment, keeping warm, cooling, buffet control, etc.
Cleaning and maintenance plan.
Reminder email if you forget something.

Self-control is an important and legally required part of food safety, and the Danish Food and Drug Administration requires that companies can document the correct processing and storage of food. It is therefore important for companies that work with temperature-sensitive goods to have a well-functioning self-monitoring program.
